I guess you have been wondering what has been going on lately!! Well for some of you, you know I have been busy uprooting my family from the UK and now we are back in the states. This has been a hectic 3 months and now it is time for me to pick back up again. I have a new job, a new home (YIPEE!!) and it wouldn’t be complete without an amazing craft room!! I have been working really hard unpacking my boxes but I am finally at a point where I can begin creating!! Still much work to be done with the rest of my home but my craftroom is ready to go! I’m ready to start bringing you guys more inspiration and Stampin’ up! updates and news. It’ll be like I never went anywhere LOL! But to start this off right, I had to bring you a project I’ve been working on that was requested from my aunt. So she asked if I could create 10 generic birthday cards. Here is whet I ame up with…
I have been eyeing this stamp set ever since I became a demo and I finally got an excuse to purchase it :)!! This stamp set is considered a two-step stamp set, meaning you stamp use more than one stamp to create an image. This set actually has 3 stamps for the frosting, and 3 stamps for the bottom. When 3 ink color combos, the possibilities are endless. Here are the ink combinations I used to create these beautiful cards:
- Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride,
- Tempting Turquoise, Pool Party, Soft Sky
- Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, So Saffron
- Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Peekaboo Peach
- Garden Green, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz
- Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
To add a finishing touch (and because I looooove sparkle), I added a little bit of Wink of Stella to the frosted shadow parts. I had fun creating theses simple but cute cards. I hope my auntie loves them and when you get a chance, to try out this stamp set!
